Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose and Definitions)

These Terms of Service (hereinafter “Terms”) establish the conditions for the use of digital menu creation, website translation and design adjustment, and related services (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Service”) provided by JLocalize (hereinafter “Company”). All individuals or entities using the Service (hereinafter “Users”) are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
The following key terms are defined as follows:

  • “User”: Any individual or entity utilizing the Service.
  • “Service”: The digital menu creation, website translation and design adjustment, and all related services provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Scope of Application)

These Terms apply to all relationships between the Company and Users concerning the use of the Service. In cases where separate contracts or guidelines exist, and their contents differ from these Terms, the provisions of such separate contracts or guidelines shall take precedence.

Article 3 (Service Description)

The Company provides the following services:

  1. Digital Menu Creation Service
    • Starter Plan: $50/month, digital menu creation (up to 20 items), QR code issuance, FAQ and email support.
    • Growth Plan: $150/month, digital menu creation (up to 50 items), QR code issuance, FAQ and email support (response within 48 hours).
    • Full Plan: $300/month, digital menu creation (unlimited items), QR code issuance, custom design included, FAQ and email support (response within 48 hours).
    • Annual contracts receive one month free.
    • Users may purchase additional optional services.
  2. Website Translation and Design Adjustment Service
    • Creation of multilingual websites supporting Japanese and English.
    • Translation and design optimization of existing websites (scope varies depending on site size and code).
    • Free initial consultation, with quotes determined individually upon discussion.
      The Service utilizes a combination of AI translation and human review, but complete accuracy of translations is not guaranteed.
      Support for the Service is provided based on U.S. standard time (PST/EST). Due to time differences, responses may be delayed, and Users are asked to acknowledge this in advance.

Article 4 (Contract Term and Payment)

The minimum contract term for the Service is three (3) months, except for the Website Translation and Design Adjustment Service, which will follow the contract term specified in individual quotes.
Users shall make payments monthly or annually via Stripe or Wise. For Website Translation and Design Adjustment Services, payment shall be made in a lump sum or installments upon quote confirmation.
In the event of mid-term cancellation, no refunds will be provided for payments already made. 
Contracts are automatically renewed, and Users wishing to terminate must notify the Company at least ten (10) days prior to the contract’s end date.
The Service is provided by an individual freelancer, and Japanese withholding tax obligations do not apply. Users are responsible for their own tax obligations.

Payment Fees
All payment methods incur transaction fees (e.g., credit card fees, bank transfer fees, remittance fees), which are borne by the User.
For credit card payments via Stripe, a fee of 2.9% + $0.30 USD (or 4.4% + $0.30 USD for international cards requiring currency conversion) will be added to the invoiced amount. Please note that fees may vary depending on the user’s location and payment conditions; refer to Stripe’s pricing page (https://stripe.com/pricing) for details.


For bank transfers or Wise payments, the User shall bear the transfer fees.

Article 5 (Prohibited Actions)

Users shall not engage in the following actions when using the Service:

  • Providing Service content to third parties without authorization.
  • Infringing on copyrights or other intellectual property rights.
  • Providing false information.
  • Engaging in unauthorized access, hacking, or similar activities.
  • Interfering with the Company’s operations.
  • Violating laws or public order and morals.
    The Company reserves the right to refuse service or terminate the contract with any User who violates these prohibited actions.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Company.
The Service may be temporarily suspended due to system failures, maintenance, or force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, wars, communication disruptions).
The Company does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated translations.

Article 7 (Intellectual Property Rights)

All copyrights, trademarks, patents, and other intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to the Company.
The copyrights to digital menus and website content translated or designed through the Service belong to the User, provided that the Company is granted a license to use such content during the contract period.

Article 8 (Handling of Personal Information)

The Company shall manage Users’ personal information appropriately in accordance with the Privacy Policy posted on the Company’s website.
The Company will not disclose Users’ personal information to third parties without consent.

Article 9 (Changes to Service Content)

The Company may modify or discontinue the Service as necessary.
In the event of significant changes, the Company will notify Users in advance via email or by posting on the Company’s website.

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, United States of America.
Any disputes arising from the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Nevada.

Supplementary Provisions

These Terms shall take effect from March 25, 2025.

Important Notice for Users in Japan:
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Nevada. By using our Services, you agree to these terms, including the governing law and jurisdiction clauses.
